Roolo Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

1. Introduction

ACLT-INC ("Roolo," "we," "us," or "our") develops Roolo, a personal AI application designed to make computers simpler and easier to use.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website or use the Roolo application.

Our approach is simple: your conversations and personal memory stay on your computer. We collect limited technical and usage information during the private beta to understand how Roolo performs and how people use it.

2. Your Conversations Stay Private

Roolo is designed to process and store your conversations and personal memory locally on your computer.

We do not collect, upload, or store your conversation history or personal memory on our servers.

Your prompts, responses, and locally stored memory are not transmitted to us as part of our private-beta telemetry.

The exception is when you use internet search. When you request a search, the relevant search query is sent to our search API provider so that Roolo can retrieve information from the internet. The provider may process that query in accordance with its own privacy policy.

We do not intentionally transmit your conversation history or personal memory when performing an internet search.

3. Private Beta: Usage and Performance Data

During the Roolo private beta, we collect limited technical and usage data to evaluate the application's performance, reliability, and continued use.

This information may include:

  • Usage information: How frequently Roolo is used, how often features are used, and usage patterns that help us understand continued engagement.
  • Performance information: Response times, processing speed, and other performance measurements.
  • Device information: Relevant hardware specifications, available system resources, and configuration information needed to evaluate performance across computers.
  • Diagnostic information: Technical errors, crashes, and other information needed to identify and resolve problems.

We use this information exclusively for purposes such as measuring beta engagement, understanding retention, improving performance, diagnosing technical issues, and making Roolo more reliable across different hardware configurations.

Private-beta telemetry does not include your conversation history, AI responses, or personal memory.

Participation in the private beta requires this telemetry because it is an essential part of evaluating and improving the product. The information collected is limited to what we need for these purposes.

By downloading and using the private-beta version of Roolo, you acknowledge the data collection described in this policy. We also provide notice of these practices as part of the beta experience.

4. Information Collected Through Our Website

When you visit our website, our hosting infrastructure may collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, requested pages, and request timestamps, through standard server logs.

If you contact us, we collect the email address and message you provide so that we can respond to your inquiry.

Our website does not currently provide account registration or direct payment checkout.

5. How We Use Information

We use information collected through our website and application to:

  • Operate and maintain Roolo;
  • Measure private-beta usage and continued engagement;
  • Evaluate application speed and resource consumption;
  • Identify bugs and improve reliability;
  • Improve compatibility with different computer configurations;
  • Respond to support requests; and
  • Protect our Services and comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your locally stored conversations or personal memory for these purposes because we do not collect them.

6. Third-Party Services

Roolo uses an external API to provide internet search functionality. When you initiate an internet search, the relevant query is transmitted to the search provider for processing.

Our website and application may also rely on hosting or infrastructure providers to deliver their functionality. These providers may process the technical information necessary to provide their services.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Data Storage and Retention

Your conversations and personal memory are stored locally on your computer and are not uploaded to Roolo's servers.

Private-beta usage, performance, and diagnostic data transmitted to us may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate the beta, improve the application, troubleshoot problems, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Website server logs and support communications may be retained for the time reasonably necessary for their intended purposes.

When information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or otherwise handle it in accordance with applicable law.

8. Cookies

Our website may use essential cookies or similar technologies needed for basic functionality and security.

We do not currently use advertising cookies.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information we collect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no software or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your computer and protecting access to information stored on it.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, along with other applicable privacy rights.

To submit a privacy-related request, contact us at support@getroolo.com.

Because your conversations and personal memory remain on your computer and are not collected by us, we generally cannot access or delete that locally stored information on your behalf.

11. Children's Privacy

Roolo is not intended for use by children where such use would violate applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable legal requirements.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, contact support@getroolo.com.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Roolo evolves or our data practices change. Any revisions will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
